Rush Select Program

U13-U18 National Team Overview

U13-U18 players will be selected for participation on either a Blue National (1st team) or White National Team (2nd team) based on performance at the Center, past Rush Select performances, Rush Select Staff recommendation, and/or Technical Director nomination. The U18 age group will only travel one National Team. 

The National Teams will participate in a high level tournament to compete against other clubs while representing themselves, their local club, and Rush Soccer. Players on the National Teams will continue to be scouted by the Rush Select National Staff for future playing opportunities. 

One of the goals of the Rush Select Program is to help players with their college search process. The Rush Select Program will assist the player with preparing for the event by giving them tips and tools on how to best communicate with college coaches coming to the event. 

Location & Schedule

The 2022 National Team Event is PDT in Arizona. The 2022 National Team Event will take place over Presidents Day weekend from February 17-21, 2022

Registration Information
The Registration Fee for the event is $725. Registration costs for this event includes the fields, hotel, uniforms, and all administrative fees. Players will be selected for this event by invite from the Rush Select Staff. Information will be provided in the invite for The Hub. See the helpful resources section for more details. 

Refund Policy 
A $362.5 deposit will be required in order for registration to be considered complete and the player's roster spot to be reserved. A 50% refund will be granted between 1/2/22 and the day of the event. If the event is cancelled the player will receive a full refund minus a 3.6% credit card fee. 

Hotel

Players will be staying the Rush Way while traveling as the National Team. This means players will be sharing a hotel room with 3 other teammates - four players in a room. Hotel fee is included in player registration. 

2022 Player Hotel: Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort- 11111 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85020

Parents attending the Hub must book a room at the parent hotel. Parents cannot stay at the player hotel. 

2022 Parent Hotel: We were unable to secure a parent room block. Parents and supporters are welcome to stay wherever they best see fit.

Presidents' Day Tournament 2022

PDT is February 18 - 21 in Phoenix, Arizona. Players arrive February 17 by 3pm and depart February 21 after 5pm.

Refund policy:
- A full refund (less a $25 administrative fee) will be issued for any refund requested before Jan 2, 2022. After Jan 2, 2022 a 50% refund will be given unless due to doctors note injury.

Travel policy:
- Rush Select is unable to accommodate unaccompanied minor travel. Please coordinate travel with club mates.
